Technical Principles of Privacy Protection Surveillance System

The privacy protection surveillance system developed by iLu CO., LTD. consists of two parts: a sensing device and a controller. The operation of the sensing device is an innovative product based on the Doppler effect (Invention Patent No. I814576), and the required power can be obtained from the data line by the controller. In addition to the ability to supply power to sensing devices on the data line, the controller also has the feature of unlimited cascade connection to increase the number of sensing devices (New Style No. M639145). The so-called Doppler effect is the phenomenon that when there is a relative motion between the vibration wave source and the measuring point, the frequency actually received by the measuring point is not equal to the actual frequency of the wave source. Based on the Doppler effect, PrivPro surveillance sensing devices can detect vital signs within an effective range to replace image capture-type surveillance devices, so PrivPro can be installed and used in places with privacy concerns.

The current controller design is that each controller has five interfaces, four of which have power supply capabilities and can be connected to sensing devices. If one controller plus four sensing devices are not enough, the second controller can be used. Any interface of the second controller could be connected to any interface of the first controller, so that after the two controllers are connected into a system, totally is 7-sensing device installable in such system.If 7 is not enough, more controllers can be cascaded in similar way thus more sensing devices can be installed to form a larger surveillance system.

The cascade connection between controllers can be straight-through or star-type, as long as no loop occurs.
